Mike Patton Automotive was established in 1973 in historical LaGrange, Georgia. July is a month we celebrate our nation’s independence. The rich history of our small town is something to be very proud of, especially given its relevance at the beginning of this nation during the American Revolution.
General LaFayette, born in France, became a Major General appointed by George Washington. He served as a war hero during the American Revolutionary War and commanded American troops in several battles. LaFayette also helped write the original Declaration of Independence.
Mike Patton Automotive is proud to be located on LaFayette Parkway, not too far from where General LaFayette came to visit in 1825. The bucolic town of LaGrange, Georgia, in the rural heartland of America, was named after the country estate and land of his chateau in Paris, France. He loved the land and said it reminded him of his home. A statue of General LaFayette is mounted on a central fountain in LaGrange’s LaFayette Square.
As you and your family reflect on the importance of our independence, Mike Patton wants you to know that we too are extremely grateful for the privilege to live and work in this great nation!
